Kristi Wilson

Kristi has been interested in working in veterinary medicine since she was 5 years old. At age 17, with the encouragement of her father, she volunteered at a small animal practice, going on to work there for 5 years. After confirming that veterinary medicine was the right fit for her, she went on to complete the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College in 2001. She tries to find enjoyment in each and every part of her job.

As practice manager, she spends less time with the patients than she used to but she is always happy to see a furry face peeking through her office door. She is particularly fond of the senior patients as she has had several aging pets over the course of her career. She enjoys that she gets to make a difference in her small part of the world, helping to solve problems, share knowledge, and learn new things along the way. 

Fun fact: Her favourite winter hobby is snow shoeing and in the warmer weather she loves to be in her kayak!
