Dr. Sara Wick

Dr. Wick has always loved animals and has found herself fascinated by science and medicine. These interests led her to veterinary medicine very early on in life. Dr. Wick obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Zoology from the University of Guelph before graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008. She also completed a rotating internship in medicine, surgery, and emergency care before moving out west. She practiced as an emergency vet in Alberta for 6 years before moving into general practice, after which she opened her own clinic in Calgary.

Dr. Wick’s love for her family led her back to Windsor/Essex County and to this amazing position as an associate veterinarian at South Windsor Animal Hospital. She is most interested in surgery and dentistry but loves all challenges in veterinary medicine. South Windsor Animal Hospital is a perfect fit for her with amazing, compassionate coworkers and wonderful clients.  

Fun fact: Outside of work, she is kept very busy by her husband, kids and small zoo of pets.
